The London Innovation Placement Programme is dedicated to finding challenging London based projects for ambitious students, graduates and postgraduates.
Our placements give you the opportunity to make your mark on small and medium sized London businesses. If you've got the passion and the can-do attitude we're looking for, you could be responsible for the management of a key development project for your host company, and enjoy the chance to create, improve and innovate for employers who genuinely value your skills.
Project examples include prototype design, creating new products, researching new markets and developing new software - providing practical work experience for your CV and future job applications. Projects may also be eligible for academic support, providing even more depth to your placement experience.
Placement length is flexible, ranging from 4-12 week summer placements through to year out opportunities for recent graduates looking for work experience or for those of you in full time education and looking for a complementary year out.

FAQ's
Will I get paid?
If your placement lasts for up to 12 weeks, you'll receive a training allowance of £220 per week, tax and NI free. Longer projects will receive a salary subject to tax and NI and agreed with your employer.
What other support is available?
You'll also receive full support throughout your project including induction and mentoring where required. You'll have access to an online skills tracker, as well as an online forum where you can contact other students taking part in the programme.
