Funded by the London Development Agency (LDA) and delivered through local partners, the London Innovation Placement Programme provides talented students, graduates and postgraduates to work on innovative projects in small to medium sized businesses, social enterprises and charities across London.

Examples of previous projects include prototype design, creating new products, researching new markets and developing new software.

Placement length is flexible, ranging from 4-12 week summer placements through to year out opportunities for recent graduates looking for work experience, or for students and postgraduates still in full time education and looking for a complementary year out.

Every student will be specially selected to meet your specific business requirements. And if your project could benefit from further academic support you can also apply for a grant of up to £2,500 for this as part of the placement scheme.

How much does it cost?

If your placement lasts for up to 12 weeks, the cost to you will be £250 +VAT per week. This covers the students training allowance and we manage the administration for you. Longer projects are subject to a standard set-up fee of £1500 + VAT and you pay the student an agreed salary directly.
