The London Innovation Placement Programme

The London Innovation Placement Programme has been designed to introduce students, graduates and postgraduates to knowledge transfer and innovation in a real business environment.

Working on specific innovation based projects in small to medium sized businesses, social enterprises and charities across London, students will be able to put their skills to use in a real business environment and be introduced to the possibility of setting up their own companies.

Businesses taking part in the programme will benefit from a fresh perspective and new ideas – and if appropriate can apply for funding for further academic support through the programme, helping to build expertise and bring universities and employers closer together.

The London Development Agency (LDA)

The LDA is the Mayor's agency responsible for driving London's sustainable economic growth. It's our job to ensure that London remains a global success story. To help us deliver this we work with partners from industry, and the public and voluntary sectors. In addition to driving forward equality, health and sustainability our work is prioritised by four themes: places and infrastructure; supporting people; encouraging business; marketing London.
